Little winter throwback on my beautiful surroundings before summer arrives and the temperatures become too hot.
Last weekend, I took some rest and inspiration at my cottage. Slow days with my family, enjoying fresh air, some hiking and dinner by the fireplace : the kind of stillness you don’t realise you need until you finally have it. I wanted to take s UPCOMING - What I see changing, Series. A series of woven tapestries inspired by the changing landscape caused by the clear-cutting of the forest around my cottage. This is a topic that makes me sad, and I’ll talk to you about it later. I love When you have a really clear idea of what you want and then halfway through, you realise you have been going in the wrong direction. As an artist, knowing when to step back is actually a good thing, it lets you experiment, learn and keep moving.
